Something is missing

The BLX-1 battery charger and two batteries was ordered. Only the charger showed up. What happened to the other two items?
I suspect that someone that just ordered the charger received a bonus of two free batteries.
This was a rather expensive charger. I hope it works. It would be a real bummer if it failed to charge a battery. Just one as that is all I have. There are two slots in the charger. Does that mean that two must be charged at the same time?
If the batteries are back ordered, it would have been nice if Wasabi had sent an email saying that they would ship them when they were available. It would have been nice if customer service worked. Ah, the labor shortage and the holiday season when things are rushed and people are wanting to spend time at home. I do hope this is the case of being shorted two batteries.

Olympus BLX-1 Battery (2-Pack) and USB-C Dual Charger

The charger works well although the batteries don’t seem to last as long as Olympus’ own which is not surprising to me. I find the rise in temperature during charging a bit disconcerting given the charger lies on a cold flat marble floor and wonder if it is normal.
